Stuart married Dana in 1998 and moved to Hervey Bay in 2007, where they raise their three children.
Stuart first visited Hervey Bay in 1988, where his family would come for holidays and eventually his parents moved to Hervey Bay. He fell in love with the people and places of Hervey Bay and made the great decision to move to the Bay in 2007.
He is passionate about Hervey Bay and the Fraser Coast region and believes that the area offers so much potential that has yet to be realised. He has a particular interest in tourism, industry and infrastructure development, public safety and environmental sustainability.
Stuart believes in the fundamental principle that accountability of local government is to its community. For this reason, Stuart is committed to reform in the local council that will address accountability, transparency and efficiency of process.
