The Local Government Act states that all local councils within Queensland must act in accordance to the following principles:

  • Transparent and effective processes
  • Sustainable development
  • Democratic representation
  • Good governance
  • Ethical and legal behaviour

It is my commitment to ensure that these principles are adhered to and that our Council understands and abides by the fundamental ethos that accountability of local government is to its community – not the other way around.

My Experience

  • Councillor – Fraser Coast Regional Council (Div 9) – Current
  • Owner of local tourism based business
  • Qualified Police Prosecutor
  • Community Based Police Officer
  • First Response Police Officer
  • Youth worker
  • Industry Consultant – Australian Apprenticeship Centre

I am passionate about the Fraser Coast and believe there is so much potential our community has yet to enjoy. My wife, Dana, and I are eager for our children to grow up in a community that is prosperous and sustainable.
